Lolly is a small Aracana hen who took the 25 Cochins under her wing and raised them herself. That was a sight! She didn't let a single one get cold or lost.
The hen egg production is about 1 egg per 3 days (except we don't expect Lolly to give us more eggs cause she is 7 years old.
Products
Crystal is the mother of the Dairy Goats. She produces about a gallon of milk per day for 6 - 7 months with the main bulk of milk 2 months after kidding.
Baby is Crystal's daughter and part Boer. She's healthier than the other pure bred Saneens and much meatier. This will be her first year milking so we'll see if she can do as good as her mother.
Sister is a pure-bred Saneen and this is also her first year milking. She mild mannered and will be easy to milk. We expect her to be the biggest producer and throw the best kids.
The Sheep:
Pearl, the large black Icelandic ewe, Ada and Addel (Icelandic moorits).
